My expertise is in identifying and helping you understand the thought patterns which move through your mind — and more importantly, how they change and relate to the physiology within your body.
With that understanding, you will then know how discordant lifestyle patterns (such as work-life balance) can affect the mind through their impact on our body.
This workshop makes mindfulness and meditation practice much more effective, as they enable you to understand what you may be experiencing within your mind during periods of introspection.
Too many times, I’ve sat in yoga classes and the teacher has just said “Right now, we’ll sit and meditate.” People had no idea what they were meant to be doing, or indeed were under the impression that their mind should be magically ‘empty,’ — and because it’s not, they thought there were doing something ‘wrong.’
So in this workshop, I’ll educate you on how meditation and having a still mind are not necessarily the same thing (although meditation techniques can take you there!).
